15-year-old boy jumps to death from 12th floor of a building in Sharjah

In a tragic incident, an Arab teenager was found in a pool of blood after he reportedly jumped from the 12th floor of an apartment in Sharjah.

The Sharjah Police’s Al Buhairah station officers are investigating the death.

The incident took place in Sharjah’s Taawun area on Sunday.

The family has been identified as Syrian.

According to preliminary investigation, the boy took the drastic step after being involved in an argument with his father.

The police control room received the information about a body lying in the streets of Taawun around 2am.

The boy, aged 15, was outside the house with his friends for a long time. When he returned home, the father scolded.

The teenager was very upset with the situation at home, which led him to jump of the balcony.

The child was rushed to Al Kuwait Hospital Sharjah where the medics and experts confirmed his death.

The doctors said that the boy suffered severe internal injuries, a cracked skull and blood coming out of nose and ears.

The authorities have taken the body for autopsy.
