Initially, according to the local reports the tusker was swept away by the overflowing waters for almost two hours, but then the elephant fought back its way to the safety.

In the end elephant was able to snatch life form the jaws of a certain death and  finally managed to reenter the forest.

Not a single member of Forest team was able to reach anywhere near the wild elephant as water was in full spate so they all were forced to be the mute spectators of the elephant’s valiant battle against water.

In spite of the fact that the battle between elephant and ferocious water won many hearts of the internet, there were some who wished animal to be swept away from the village.

They were angry villagers who have to bear the rampaging wild elephants who destroy their crops.
